This guy's an old coot, but he really has the power to explain himself and presents some great food for thought here.

He's dead wrong about some of the assumptions he says are "obvious", and in fact smugly contradicts himself several times in succession near the end of this video (though I only know a hand-full of people who'll see that).

However... I love what he says about science at around 18:00 and he picks up with some really interesting ideas around the middle of the speech.
